Inclusion Manager at Royal Ontario Museum, Canada
Christian Blake is the Inclusion Manager at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), and a registered Occupational Therapist. At the ROM, Christian applies a unique lens to supporting the participation and engagement of the Museum’s diverse audiences. In this role, he works alongside over 100 partner organizations to remove barriers to access, builds connections through ROM In My Backyard programming, promotes community health and well-being through the ROM Social Prescription Program, and leads organizational initiatives to support equity, diversity and inclusion.
Christian will be present at Communicating the Arts Montreal and will conduct a case study about art therapy at the Royal Ontario Museum: “Museums as medicine? Exploring the healing potential of cultural spaces”.
