Programming Manager, at Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, Canada
With over 10 years of experience, Frederic’s journey originally began in the music community. For eight years, he was responsible for the programming of the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique, one of the major festivals in Montreal, which celebrates African music and culture.
Since 2017, Frederic Kervadec has been working within the Programming team of the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership. After having worked on developing various artistic projects created for public spaces, Frederic has spent the last two years dedicated to the Jardins Gamelin project.
Devoted to issues pertaining to diversity and inclusion, and passionate about making the arts and culture scene accessible to all, Frederic brings his experience and interest to his work on the Jardins Gamelin project. Jardins Gamelin is an animated space where gardens and greenhouses, music and circus, dance and games intersect with the borough, drawing citizens from across Montreal to a space which used to be avoided by the public.
