Megan Smith is the Senior Creative Developer at the National Museum of American History, connecting visitors to the past through exhibits and digital products. Megan developed the Smithsonian’s first preschool exhibition and digital guide, and has led interpretation for many of the museum’s flagship projects.
Megan leads the multi-platform national conversation What It Means to Be American, co-founded the National Youth Summit, and developed the museum’s first Innovation Challenge. Megan attended Amherst College and the George Washington University, and was selected for the Getty Leadership Institute’s NextGen Program and the Smithsonian’s Emerging Leaders Development Program.
