Head of cultural services at Canton de Vaud, Switzerland
Since April 2016, Nicole Minder is the head of cultural services of the Canton de Vaud in Switzerland. She has a strong expertise in culture and heritage having worked in many non-profit organisations at a local and national scale.
After studying art history and social sciences at Sotheby’s in London and at the Lausanne University, Nicole started her career as a Curator in the Print Room in Vevey where she produced more than 60 exhibitions.
She then studied culture management and was nominated vice-president of the Swiss Museum Association.
In 2006, she was nominated at the director of Château de Prangins by the Federal Office of Culture. Thanks to her effort and expertise, the notoriety of the Château, which is also the National Swiss Museum, increased.
From 2012 to 2018 Nicole taught museum studies at Neuchâtel University.
