Stefanie Joy Muscat is the Executive Director of the Acadia Family Center and is a firm believer in the power of arts organizations for dialogue and healing in modern society. She previously served as Director of Advancement for the Abbe Museum. For 13 years, she was at the helm of Bevara, an award-winning international nonprofit consulting firm. Stefanie has worked with diverse communities throughout the Americas for over 20 years. Throughout her career, she has been honored for her work. In 1999, she was included on the Detroit Free Press’ list of “100 People to Watch This Century”, for work to promote art, heritage and culture. In 2014, she was selected as a Fellow of The Nantucket Project, a gathering of the world’s leading thinkers, visionaries, and performers to discuss the theme of “art + commerce”.
