Thea-Mai Baumann is Acting Director Capacity Building at the Australia Council for the Arts. At the Australia Council she manages the implementation of the Digital Culture Strategy (2020-2024), where she is involved in designing a suite of Digital Upskilling Programs to support the digital capabilities and opportunities for the cultural, arts and creative sectors in Australia.
Prior to joining the Australia Council, Thea was CEO, Founder, and Executive Director for world first hologram brand Metaverse Makeovers, where she led the commercialisation of wearable augmented reality and the patent-pending platform Metaverse Nails in China and the Asian female mobile market.
In 2018, Thea completed a Masters of Creative Entrepreneurship from the National Film and Television School (UK).
