As Vice President, Audiences and Innovation, Vince Ford oversees audience development, engagement, and experience, which includes marketing, digital, and special projects. Mr. Ford joined the Philharmonic in 2007 as Director of New Media and was promoted to Director, Digital Media, in 2011. During his tenure the Philharmonic has grown its digital audiences to reach more than 50 million per year; self-produced 100 digital recordings; expanded the reach of its weekly radio show to include China and Europe; introduced Young Peoples Concert Play!, which streams Young People’s Concerts to classrooms; filmed more than 50 concerts, broadcasting performances into movie theaters and on PBS, medici.tv, and Facebook Live; and greatly expanded nyphil.org. Vince Ford completed his M.B.A. at Emory’s Goizueta Business School in 2007 with a focus in business strategy. He is currently a doctoral student at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, with research interests in organizational strategy and innovation. Vince Ford studied French horn and music education as an undergraduate at the University of Georgia.
