Alexia Jacques-Casanova

Alexia Jacques-Casanova is a freelance consultant and facilitator specialising in participatory projects and audience engagement. She designs and runs participatory protocols for cultural institutions addressing social issues and driven by a desire to co-design with their audiences.

Through systems promoting collective intelligence, creation and decision-making, Alexia works on both sides of the museum’s doors. Internally, she runs collaborative workshops to help diverse teams solve strategic issues and imagine audience engagement opportunities. She also works directly with visitors to help institutions co-create meaningful and lasting cultural experiences with their audience.

Alexia has recently worked for Musée Zoologique de Strasbourg, MAC VAL, Universcience, and Musée National d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris. She holds a BA in Cultural and Social Anthropology (UCL); a PGDip in Community Dance (Trinity Laban) and an MA in Arts Administration (School of the Art Institute of Chicago). She currently resides in Saint-Nazaire, France.
