Lisa Walli has devoted her career to the cultural sector, helping institutions evolve and remain meaningful to diverse stakeholders and audiences. 

In 2019 Ms. Walli joined the Canadian Museum of History and Canadian War Museum where she serves as Chief Experience Officer (CXO) & Vice-President, Public Affairs, Advancement and Digital. She has held senior management positions for more than fifteen years in other world-class Canadian institutions, including the National Gallery of Canada, the Calgary Centre for the Performing Arts, and the Manitoba Children’s Museum in Winnipeg. 

Ms. Walli pursued her education in the United States and the United Kingdom, and has post-graduate degrees in Art History and Art Business, as well as a certificate in Art Law. Passionate about cultural diplomacy and collaboration, she promotes the open exchange of knowledge and ideas, creating partnerships that foster dialogue and understanding through the arts. 

Ms. Walli has taught Art History and Arts Education at the university level, and has continued her commitment to empowering younger generations through her volunteer service on charitable boards. She is inspired by her two boys, who keep her active and engaged in understanding our complex world.
