Kenna Hernly
Kenna Hernly is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD), USA, focusing on inclusive and participatory models for learning in art museums, particularly when augmented with technology. She is also a member of the leadership team for UMD’s Museum Scholarship andMaterial Culture Graduate Program.
Kenna was previously Curator for Public Programs and Interpretation at Tate St Ives, UK. She has also worked in audience research and interpretation at theSmithsonian American Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC. As a lecturer at UMD and The Phillips Collection, she has trained teachers to integrate the arts into their classrooms and taught undergraduate students interdisciplinary arts practice.
