Annabelle Tan
Annabelle Tan is Deputy Director of Learning and Outreach at National Gallery Singapore.
She leads learning and engagement of young audiences and oversees a team responsible for Early Years, School-age Children, Youths and Outreach Partnerships. Annabelle is committed to developing creative and innovative educational practices and programmes for the young audiences to access onsite, offsite, and online.
Prior to this, she served as a Programme Director at A Place for Kids in New York City, where she advocated access for creative learning among immigrant children and opportunities for youth leadership.
Annabelle Tan has over 15 years of experience in working with young audiences. She has a master’s degree in art and art education and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and philosophy. She is an alumna of Columbia University, Teachers College. She believes that the arts play an important role in human development.
