Anne - Elisabeth Thibault
Anne Elisabeth Thibault took over as Director of Pointe-à-Callière in January 2021. Beyond the walls of our institution, she is convinced of the importance of working together for the benefit ofour fellow citizens. She has more than twenty years of professional experience in the fields of museology, heritage, technology development, and human, financial and material resource management.
As a member of successful teams-Moment Factory, FLOAT4-including those at Pointe-à-Callière, she carried out large-scale projects that have earned them national and international recognition. She strongly believes in teamwork; she is recognised for her leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate her troops. Her numerous missions abroad, during conferences or when negotiating agreements for the holding of major exhibitions and projects, have also allowed her to measure the high degree of esteem that colleagues in other countries have for Canadian museum know-how. Based on her experience and her interest in ICOM-Canada, she is happy to contribute concretely to the Women’s Day Conference of the Aga Khan Museum.
