Carla Castle is a multi-faceted creative professional whose journey began in filmmaking before her passion for cultural policy led her to pursue a degree in Arts Management. With an impressive portfolio and multiple awards for her work, she was a recipient of the Ireland Funds Scholarship. Beyond school, Carla was ARTWALK 2023's festival producer and curator, occasionally writes for Plural Art Magazine, and, most recently, the curatorial assistant for Re-Connect/Centre/Converge: The Arts Festival at the Substation. Carla's academic pursuits have led her to international platforms such as the ASEAN-Korea Youth Metaverse Competition in Busan, where her team presented a proposal on Cultural Tourism and preservation through innovative XR technologies. She also recently participated in the Arts Journalism Residency at the Asia-Europe Foundation, where she covered the inaugural edition of the Cultural Diplomacy Lab.
