Duncan Bass is a cultural critic, art historian and curator at Singapore Art Museum. 

His writing and curatorial projects explore the intersections of art and contemporary culture with an emphasis on the societal implications of emerging technologies and the politics of visuality.

Bass studied art history and media theory at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the University of Chicago and Columbia College. He has organized exhibitions and public programmes at institutions throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
