Georgina Russell is a creative sector leader who has happily combined her love of culture with a career spanning 20 years in independent media, major events and the arts. She has led high- performing teams to generate multi-millions in income and attendance through fundraising, partnerships, marketing and commercial initiatives – at prestigious Victorian attractions and events including Melbourne Fringe, Melbourne Writers Festival, NGV and ACMI.

Georgina is currently Director of Commercial & Development at ACMI, where she oversees the strategic management of corporate partnerships, philanthropy, festival partnerships, events, retail and food and beverage. Her achievements at ACMI include the transformation of its corporate and philanthropic partnerships program to secure several new long-term major partnerships and a 600% increase in revenue.

Since 2017 Georgina has been a board member of renowned contemporary dance company, Lucy Guerin Inc, and was co-founder/owner of Smithward wine bar from 2015 to 2023.
