Arts leader Gillian Mercer is Creative Australia’s Director of Business Development and Partnerships. She oversees Creative Australia’s partnerships initiatives and fundraising capability programs. Her more than 20 years in the arts include senior leadership roles in three of Adelaide’s iconic multi-genre festivals, at the Art Gallery of South Australia and as a board director and former chair of a children's theatre company. 

Mercer looks for opportunities to celebrate the public value of Australia’s cultural and creative industries and generate co-investment opportunities supporting Australian creativity, working across-portfolios and in new ways.
