Janine Collins’ career began in the education sector where she quickly gained a reputation for business acumen in establishing and developing vocational training centres, nationally and overseas and consulting to the government agency AusAid. She transitioned to the non-profit sector as Fundraising Director for Jose Ramos-Horta’s Diplomacy Training Program before joining the cultural sector where she led development teams at Sydney Dance Company, Sydney Writers Festival and Belvoir Theatre.

Janine has since trained and advised 300+ organisations, and directly raised $30m+ in the education, human rights and cultural sectors, transforming “at risk” organisations to sustainable companies. Janine is Chair, Performance Space and Board member of Regional Arts Australia and The Social Outfit, a social enterprise employing refugee and migrant women.
