Jessica Priebe

Dr Jessica Priebe is an Art Historian and Lecturer in emerging technologies at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia. Jessica is a former research fellow in Enlightenment Studies with the Sydney Intellectual History Network and the author of numerous articles, essays, and books, including Francois Boucher and the Art of Collecting in Eighteenth-Century France (Routledge, 2021).

At the National Art School, she teaches NFTs, blockchain, metaverse showcase and AI-driven art delivered through a Web3-enabled curriculum, the first course of its kind in an Australian art institution. Jessica works with cultural institutions in the development and delivery of education programs and creative initiatives that explore the intersection between art and decentralised technologies.

She is the co-founder of arts3, a new platform and creative agency providing educational products and services for artists and cultural institutions in the emerging Web3 economy. arts3 is supported by INCUBATE's ProtoX: Arts Pre-Accelerator Program in collaboration with the Australia Council for the Arts.
