How to do it differently?
A WORD FROM OUR CEO, CORINNE ESTRADA, AND THE TEAM –
Dear Friends,
First of all, I would like to express my best wishes of good health to you, your family and close friends.
In response to the turmoil of this Spring 2020, Agenda’s team in Australia and Europe is working together with our ambassadors and advisory boards to best serve the world’s arts community. It’s time to think about how to do it differently. We wish to assist you to become more agile and successful as you work from home. With this in mind, we are currently crafting new content and formats that will soon be released. Here is what’s in store for you:
two brand new podcasts: one on which we’ll interview thought leaders from the sector; and another focused on professional development which I will personally be running.
webinars and e-courses with some of the best speakers from our previous Communicating the Arts and Culture Business conferences
an online sharing platform for you all to share best practices, challenges and key learnings.
All of these learning opportunities will be available in May, and cover four topics: Fundraising, Art Therapy, Communication Strategies and Leadership.
In the meantime, we remain active and reachable on all our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn), so feel free to drop us a line or share what you have been up to with our network.
For security reasons, we have decided to postpone the CTA conferences in Lausanne and in New Orleans. We will announce the new dates soon. If you are based in Australia or are planning a visit there in November, we have exciting news for you. We will be running a roadshow across the country to reach arts professionals in their home cities. More information on this soon.
These times of confinement and social distancing certainly call for creativity and resourcefulness to keep our institutions going. Some of you have been incredibly fast in responding to this new normal by creating online opportunities for your regular audiences to connect, and for new ones to get a first (digital) taste of what you have to offer. More than ever, we are witnessing the role arts play in keeping us sane, hopeful and connected. Once the crisis is over, our ways of working and thinking will certainly have changed, hopefully for the best.
More than ever, we are here for you.
Corinne Estrada, CEO, and the Agenda team.
