Selma Toprak is the Visitors and Education Deputy Director at the Centre Pompidou (France) since May 2021.
She leads the Centre Pompidou’s educational projects in France and internationally and oversees a diverse team responsible for museum interpretation; kids, teenagers and adult public programming ; artist programs ; community partnerships, school and higher education partnerships, inclusion and social engagement and outreach.
She is committed to developing a creative and innovative educational and artistic policy, in situ, off-site and remotely. She is responsible for programming and coordinating the activities of the mediation sites dedicated to young audiences. She also designs the centre Pompidou’s cultural engineering and professional training programs linked to audience policy, both in France and abroad.
