Agnès Parent

Agnès Parent is Director of Public Division at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle: definition and implementation of the main strategic axes, programming of exhibitions and cultural events, digital content, editions, touring exhibitions, etc.

Between 2021 and 2023, she was President of AMCSTI, the professional network for scientific, technical and industrial culture.

She graduated in the 3rd cycle in diffusion of knowledge and in creation - multimedia communication. After 5 years of participation and evaluation of exhibitions in a CNRS laboratory, she contributed to the development of about ten exhibitions (permanent or temporary) for the Muséum, as a person in charge of multimedia and edutainment devices, then as a project manager. She also participated in the development of the use of the web as a tool for disseminating knowledge. In 2003, she was in charge of the Children's Gallery project, inaugurated in October 2010; in 2012, she joined the Musée de l'Homme as project manager for its renovation (inaugurated in October 2015). Since 2017, she has been Director of Public Division of the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle.
