An international museologist and art historian, Nathalie Bondil joined IMA in 2021, spearheading efforts to reimagine the museum’s future.
Previously serving as the director of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (2007-2020), Nathalie led expansion projects and curated intercultural, interdisciplinary exhibitions.
Additionally, Nathalie is recognised for her contributions to education and health research, teaching museotherapy at prestigious institutions such as the Université de Montréal, the École du Louvre and the Institut national du patrimoine, Paris. Vice-Chair of the Canada Council for the Arts (2014-2021), and elected member of the Board of Directors of ICOM-France, she is also a member of various scientific committees and the recipient of awards and doctorates in Canada and France.
