Mentor : Marijke Smallegange
My mission is to amplify diverse cultural voices, promote dialogue, and create lasting impact through storytelling and meaningful cultural initiatives.
Originally from Lviv, the cultural capital of Ukraine, I have always been fascinated by the power of culture to connect people, spark dialogue, and shape societies. My Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies, with a thesis on EU cultural diplomacy, deepened this fascination and equipped me with the tools to understand culture as both a mirror of society and a bridge across borders. Early in my career, I collaborated with Ukrainian cultural influencers to promote national heritage during the war, helping voices of resilience reach wider audiences. Later, in Brussels, as part of the House of European History communication team, I led the strategy for “Echoes,” a project that gave young people a platform to share their perspectives and experiences, turning their stories into a meaningful dialogue with the museum’s audience.
These experiences strengthened my aspiration to amplify diverse cultural voices, particularly those representing Ukrainian culture. I hope to contribute to initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity, foster understanding, and create space for emerging voices to be shared and valued on a global stage.
I joined the 30UNDER30 Mentorship Program to refine my skills in cultural communication, gain new perspectives, and learn from experienced leaders in the sector. The program has been a transformative part of this journey, offering a space for learning and exchange. I am especially grateful to my mentor, Marijke Smallegange, whose guidance helped me navigate the complexities of the cultural field and envision new possibilities for my career. Her insights and encouragement have strengthened my confidence and sharpened my professional direction.
