I use digital storytelling to elevate creatives and cultural organizations, fostering dialogue between the Arab world and cultures across the world.

I’ve always been driven to bridge my Mass Communications studies at Cairo University with my curiosity for the international arts and culture world. Once I realised I could carve out a place in this field, there was no going back.

I started as a content creator intern and grew into a digital communications officer for Cocoon Cultural Centre and the “From Waste to Good Taste” initiative with the Egyptian Clothing Bank — all while still a student. Today, my work spans managing social media for Womena, a Dubai-based feminist media company, alongside developing communications strategy for a youth and cultural centre in the south of France.

In short, I’m a digital communications specialist who uses digital tools and trilingual storytelling (in English, Arabic, and French) to spotlight artists, creatives, and cultural organisations.

My passion is seeing stories spark understanding — a world where differences and specialties are celebrated rather than erased. I love listening to artists share their perspectives, the meaning behind their work, and how it compares to what the public sees. I’m passionate about building platforms that foster loyal, authentic communities — where engagement is measured by trust and connection, not just digital numbers.

I found the 30U30 mentorship program to be the perfect guide during a transitional period in my career. Between graduation, moving countries, and my deep aspiration to grow in the arts and culture world, 30U30 offered a tailored, non-traditional learning experience with an inside look at the professional world. Through my mentor, Nick Sharp, Chief Digital Officer at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., I gained a broader perspective, discovered new opportunities, and learned to approach my goals with calm confidence — while also feeling reassured that I was taking the right steps in such a rich yet competitive field.
