Abstract:
Returning to Communicating the Arts in Amsterdam, Ryan Dodge joins the 2025 edition as session moderator, after first presenting at CTA Brussels in 2018. He guides delegates through the conference’s four key themes, Strategy, Storytelling, Impact, and AI. Introducing speakers, framing conversations, and fostering dynamic dialogue among attendees. With a focus on connection, Ryan helps create space for reflection, critical exchange, and cross-sector inspiration throughout the programme.
About Ryan:
Ryan Dodge is Associate Director for Digital Strategy and Engagement at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), where he leads digital media, IT, marketing and communications, publications, and web teams. His work supports NMAI’s mission of advancing public understanding of Native peoples by creating impactful digital content and experiences in collaboration with Indigenous communities across the Americas.
With nearly two decades of experience in the North American cultural sector, Ryan has developed award-winning digital strategies at institutions such as Ingenium, the Canadian Museum of History, the Canadian War Museum, the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. His expertise spans digital governance, audience engagement, and innovation at the intersection of culture and technology.
