Building Data: Revealing Intangible Experiential Insights

Associate Director, Arup

Abstract:

How can the cultural sector better understand and optimise the way audiences experience spaces? In this session, Ruth Pelopida presents insights from Arup’s pilot project with cultural organisations in London, exploring how data generated by cultural buildings can be made tangible, readable, and meaningful for stakeholders.

By unlocking the hidden information embedded in venues through movement, atmosphere, or audience flow, Ruth examines how digital twin technology and data-informed strategies can help institutions enhance both visitor experienceand operational efficiency.
